Representing Jewish Communities in 100 Countries Across Six Continents

The Executive Committee of the World Jewish Congress met in New York on 29 March 2012. Amongst other things, the meeting discussed recent developments in Iran and the, not unrelated, dangers posed to Israel by Iran’s terrorist proxies, Hizbollah & Hamas. In recognition of the gravity of the situation and that any prospective actions taken by Israel, will have implications for the Jewish communities around the world, the meeting considered how the WJC can best serve the needs of it’s affiliated communitie. In this regard the Presidents of some of the larger Jewish communities also attended the meeting.
