Boris Fuchsmann is a well known businessman, the President of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine, the President of the Ukrainian Media Group, the President of the Company “Cinema-City” and also of the Kiev Hotel “Hilton Inn Kyiv”.
In 1976 Mr. Fuchsmann became the founder of the Art Gallery in Dusseldorf, Germany.
In 1990 Mr. Fuchsmann became a co-founder and co-owner of the production company “Innova Film”.
In 1995 Mr. Fuchsmann became a co-founder and co-owner of the TV Channel 1+1 in Ukraine.
Since 2010 Mr. Boris Fuchsmann is the President of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine.
In 2011 Boris Fuchsmann participated in the 9th Annual Russian Heritage festival at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The Mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg awarded Mr. Fuchsmann with a statue “Handshake” for his contribution to the development of cooperation between the USA and Russia.
Mr. Boris Fuchsmann is a generous philanthropist. He assists the Ukrainian Jewish Community and the German Jewish Community for many years. He was one of sponsors of the reconstruction of the Main Kiev Synagogue in Podol in 2003.
Mr. Fuchsmann works hard to preserve Jewish heritage and to improve Jewish life, education and culture in Ukraine and in Europe.
